Doug's Dogs & Covid

Over the last months we’ve been working hard to make sure that as we reopen Doug’s Dogs for walking, daycare, training and grooming we’re able to ensure that you, our team and our dogs are all safe and well in relation to Covid-19.

Thankfully all the evidence available says that dog’s can’t contract the virus. However, as you know, we can. So in line with Government and industry guidelines we’ve been taking precautions to protect against infection. Anyone coming into the daycare and grooming building must wear a mask; hand sanitiser is provided on entry; all floors, handles, counters and machines are disinfected daily and often more. Dogs arriving for daycare are wiped down and only our leads and collars are used for walks and daycare.

The team either walk to work or drive our vans (which we regularly clean), so have minimal contact with people on public transport. If anyone displays symptoms they will be sent home.

Our daycare service is helping many people to work successfully from home with no distractions, whilst ensuring their dogs are properly exercised. Our grooming studio open now, ready to make sure your dog is spruced up for all occasions.

If your circumstances change and you need to alter bookings, please talk to us. In the meantime, we hope that you’re coping well in such unsettling times.

With love
